Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Squared Away Automation is a registered fictitious name of Aeris Dryer Vent Cleaning LLC, a Florida limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect on squaredawayautomation.com, why, and who it goes to.

It covers this website. Websites we build for clients are covered by that client's own privacy policy, and on those sites the client decides what is collected and why. We handle that data on their instructions.

2. What we collect

When you use the contact form

We collect what you type into it: your name, your email address or phone number, and your message. We use it to reply to you and to do the work if you become a client. That is the only reason we ask.

When you enter a card code

If you type a code from one of our printed cards at /c, we record the code you typed and which preview it matched, so we know the card was used. No personal information is collected on that page. There is no name, no email and no account.

When our site is served to you

Our host, Vercel, keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses and basic request information. This is ordinary infrastructure logging used to run and secure the site.

What we do not collect

This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies. We do not build a profile of you, we do not follow you across other websites, and there is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

One thing worth naming, because it is a third party even though it is not tracking: our fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google's servers receive your IP address in order to serve them. We do not receive anything from Google in return.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only get what they need:

Vercel hosts this website and serves it to you.
Resend delivers our email, including the message you send through the contact form.
Stripe processes payments if you become a paying client. Payment happens on Stripe's own pages and we never see or store your card number.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

4. Text messages and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If we ever send you a text message, it will be because you asked us to, and you will be able to stop it by replying STOP.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages for as long as we may reasonably need them to answer you and to keep a record of the work, and client records for as long as we are working together plus the period our tax and legal obligations require. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host. Card code records carry no personal information at all.

If you want your enquiry deleted, ask us and we will delete it.

6. Your choices

You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email inquiries@squaredawayautomation.com and we will deal with it. We will not charge you for asking and we will not treat you differently for asking.

Depending on where you live you may have specific rights in law over your personal information. We will honour those rights whether or not a particular statute applies to us.

7. How it is protected

The site is served over HTTPS. Credentials and API keys are held in environment variables and a password manager, never in our code. Access to client systems is limited to the people who need it, and removed when an engagement ends. These are practices we follow, not a guarantee against every possible incident.

8. Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top.
