Terms of Service
Effective September 22, 2026.
1. Who we are
Squared Away Automation is a registered fictitious name of Aeris Dryer Vent Cleaning LLC, a Florida limited liability company. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company trading as Squared Away Automation. "You" means the business or person we are providing services to.
You can reach us at inquiries@squaredawayautomation.com or 561-414-6498.
2. What we provide
We design and build websites, automations and internal systems for small and medium businesses, and we maintain them under an ongoing plan. The specific work we are doing for you is set out in your service agreement, proposal, or the description shown at checkout. Where those documents and these terms disagree about the work itself, your service agreement governs.
We are a service provider, not an employee, partner or agent of your business.
3. Fees and billing
- Fees are as stated in your service agreement or at checkout. We do not change an agreed fee without telling you first.
- A one-time build fee, where one applies, is charged before the work begins.
- An ongoing plan is billed in advance, on a recurring basis, to the payment method you provide, until you cancel.
- Some third-party services carry usage-based costs (for example AI, messaging or mapping). Where these apply, they are set up under your own accounts and billed to you directly by that provider, so you can see and cap them. We will tell you before anything like this is set up.
- If a payment fails, we will contact you. If it stays unpaid, we may pause the ongoing plan until it is resolved.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel an ongoing plan at any time. There is no notice period and no cancellation fee.
When you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that. We do not refund the remainder of a month already under way.
We may end a plan ourselves, with reasonable notice, if fees go unpaid or if we are asked to do something unlawful. If we do, section 5 applies to anything you have paid in advance.
5. Refunds and disputes
The build fee
If you cancel before we start work, the build fee is refunded in full. Once the build has begun it is not refundable, because the work has been done and what it produces, including the site and any logotype, is yours to keep.
A monthly plan
Cancel at any time as described above. The month already under way is not refunded, and nothing further is charged.
An annual prepaid plan
If you have prepaid for a year at the discounted annual rate and you cancel part way through, we refund the months you have not used. The months you did use are charged at our standard monthly rate rather than the discounted one, because the discount is for staying the year. The difference is refunded to you.
Before you dispute a charge
If a charge looks wrong, please email inquiries@squaredawayautomation.com and we will look at it. We would rather fix a billing mistake directly than have you go through your bank, and we will refund anything we have genuinely got wrong.
6. What you own, and what we manage
This is deliberately plain, because it is the question that matters most if you ever leave.
You own:
- Your domain name, registered in your own account.
- Your data. Leads, form submissions, content and anything else your business generates. It is exportable to you at any time on request.
- Your Google Business Profile, social accounts and email.
- The finished website and any logotype we draw for you, outright.
We manage, while you are with us:
- Hosting and deployment.
- The code repository for your site, which transfers to you on exit.
- The automation and infrastructure that run the site.
If you leave, your domain and data go with you, we transfer the site repository to you or provide a full export along with the environment configuration, and we remove our access. Nothing is ever withheld to make leaving difficult. Any handoff fee is stated in your service agreement, or there is none.
Our own internal notes about your account are ours and are not part of the handoff. Anything we build for reuse across clients, including our templates, components and tooling, stays ours; your site and your content do not.
7. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about your business. We build what you tell us, and we check facts with you before a site goes live.
- Make sure you have the right to use anything you send us, including photographs, logos and copy.
- Keep your own accounts secure, and tell us promptly if something needs changing or is wrong on your site.
- Use what we build lawfully.
8. What we do not promise
We build the mechanism. We do not promise the outcome.
We do not guarantee any particular number of enquiries, calls, customers, sales or search rankings, and nothing we say should be read as promising them. Search engines, directories and advertising platforms are outside our control and change their behaviour without notice.
We aim to keep your site available and current, but no website is available every second, and third-party services we rely on can fail. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or lost data, arising out of these terms or the services.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Confidentiality
We treat what you tell us about your business as confidential and do not share it outside what is needed to do the work. If you need this in a separate signed form, we will sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects an active engagement, we will tell you before it applies to you. The effective date at the top shows when this version was published.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Broward County, Florida.
